FAQs

All finishers in all our events will receive a finishers medal.

For safety reasons animals are not allowed on the race course or on the grounds of Summers Best 2 Weeks at any time.

Absolutely! While strollers are allowed we ask that anyone pushing a stroller be mindful of other participants while on the race course. Additionally we kindly ask that strollers start at the back of the last corral.

Bicycles, skateboards, scooters, roller skates and roller blades are NOT permitted on the course.

Gates to Summers Best 2 Weeks will open at 7:30am on race day. We strongly suggest that you arrive no later than 9am if you are participating in the 5K, 10K, or 1 mile walk. If you have a son or daughter participating in the kids fun run then try to be onsite by 8:30am as the kids race will begin around 9am.

We will have granola bars, coffee, and water available before the race begins. After the race we will have a nice lunch for you that includes a Firehouse sub, chips, Gallikers drink, and dessert.

We offer an onsite bag check during the race where you can keep your valuables safe while participating in our events.

Yes, anyone is welcome to come out and watch on race day even if they will not be participating in any of our events. Spectators will be able to watch both the start and finish of each race (10K Run, 5K Walk, 5K Run, and 1 mile walk) from Summers Best 2 Weeks.

However, please note that pre and post race food is only for registered participants. While guest are welcome to come, all food and beverages are for registered participants only.

You can find an interactive map of our 1 mile, 5K and 10K race courses on the information page.

Yes, you may pickup a friends race packet if they are unable to do so themselves.

You only need the name they registered under to do so. Be sure to coordinate, we have had situations where someone picked up a packet for another and the original runner also showed up asking for their packet.

Unfortunately we are not able to mail anyone’s race packet for any reason. If for any reason you are unable to attend the race please either pickup your packet at our prerace packet pickup locations or have a friend do so on your behalf.

The Que Classic does not offer refunds but you may transfer your registration to another participant.

The Que Classic 1 mile, 5K and 10K course does contain hills. The first half of each race is predominately downhill rolling stretches while the second half after you turnaround is gradual uphill stretches.

In years past our 10K had a time limit but no longer has a location that you must reach before a certain time. There is no limit for our 1 mile walk or 5K either. However, due to public safety reasons, we ask that all 10K participants maintain a 15 minute-per-mile pace. If you cannot adhere to the permitted pace per mile, there is a possibility that you will be asked to board a sweep vehicle that will take you back to SB2W.

If you do not want to get on the sweep vehicle, you will need to move off to the side of the road so traffic can resume.

We have a deadline for registering with a shirt so we can order shirts in advance according to what you selected if you register by those deadlines. Additionally we order a few extras just in case. If we have any extras after the race you are welcome to exchange, but if the race fills, extras for exchange are unlikely.

Headphones are allowed; however, we encourage participants to refrain from using headphones during the race for safety reasons.

We encourage all participants and spectators to arrive with enough time to ensure parking availability and allow for adequate time to drop off bags, warm up, and get in the start corrals. The kids fun run will start around 9am and road closures will begin around 9:15, about 15 minutes prior to the start of the 10K, 5K, and 1 mile walk.

Parking will be available on the grounds of Summers Best 2 Weeks where the start and finish of our events will take place. We encourage you to arrive early!
